After 8 quick years in the world of self-employment I’d like to say thank you to all our customers, large and small. The greatest benefit I’ve found from self-employment is the ability to schedule other non-business activities around the all important business world. One of those activities my wife and I have taken on is to work as volunteers with The Youth for Christ office in Mount Prospect at 427B East Euclid Avenue with a ‘Drop In Center’ where the kids can just hang out a while. This gives them a safe place to socialize, do homework (we now offer tutoring), play pool, foosball,	cards, video games, etc. Our part is to chaperone and try to form a relationship with the kids that will encourage them to develop their relationship with Jesus Christ. On September 15 I’ll be ‘working’ for Youth for Christ on the golf course. We’re raising money that will go directly to our Mount Prospect office to be spent on the kids that we work with. If you would like to help out please write a check to ‘Youth for Christ’ and send it to our office. Thank you for allowing me the flexibility in my schedule to reach out to these kids in Mount Prospect.
